SID Mid-Europe Chapter Student Award 2015

The SID-ME Best Student Award 2015 competition is now closed. The winner is Mr. Mohammad Mohammadimasoudi from Ghent University. More details will be mentioned in the upcoming SID-ME newsletter, to be found on the SID-ME website.

The SID-ME Chapter Student Award is granted for an outstanding scientific or technical achievement in, or contribution to, research on information display. The applicant is a student at a university / institute in the SID-ME region (master or PhD student) and must be a full member or a student member* of SID-ME at the time he/she submits his/her contribution. The prize amounts to 1500 euro, with the obligation to present the winning contribution at the SID-ME meeting where the award ceremony will be held. This year the award ceremony will be held during the EuroDisplay 2015 conference and the submitted abstracts will be treated as the contributions. The winner's registration fee will be waived. When selected for the award, you will be contacted by the award committee, well in advance of the conference.

*Note that student membership of SID only costs 5 USD per year

Applications (submitted abstracts) will be judged by the Program Committee of Eurodisplay 2015. Based on the scores of the Program Committee, the Award Committee makes the final decision.
